Inclusive Play Sessions
Wild at Heart Hideaway opens its doors every day for you to "Come and GLOW" as you please. You book into a 3 hour slot but can arrive and leave whenever suits you. You can access all areas which includes our speciality GLOW room as well as our beautiful 'Nest' full of toys and resources. We even have a little 'nearly new shop' where you can rehome some bargains for your little ones wardrobe. Refreshments for adults are always included making it the perfect place to meet up with old friends or make some new ones. We have our own private car park which is free of charge and can be easily found at YO25 9LH.
You will be welcomed at these sessions by Hideaway coordinator Lauren, Katy or manager Anna.

Escape for... Well Being
Baby Massage
0-6m £20 4 Week Course
With diffusers, candles, dream catchers and fairy lights we create a magical, dreamy time for you to bond with your baby.
Inhale is led by WAH's Baby Room Leader Emily, who completed her ‘Hands On Babies’ yoga and massage qualification in 2021; a dream she had longed to achieve.
As this is a 4 week course booking here is a breakdown of what to expect each week...
Week One - Introduction and focus on legs
Week Two - Recap legs and focus on tummy
Week Three - Recap of legs and tummy and focus on chest, arms and hands
Week Four - All of the above including face and back
We build up through the weeks to support the baby in getting use to being massaged and to fully learn the benefits of each area.

The session always ends with adult refreshments and the chance to talk to other parents and our baby room leader. Emily will provide treasure baskets and age appropriate resources for little ones while you get to enjoy a hot (or cold) drink and a biscuit.
Baby Yoga
6-12* Months £5 per session or £20 4 Week Course
Baby Yoga is based on Hatha Yoga. It is all about practicing cross body movements, strengthening the core and supporting neurological brain development .

Our baby yoga session is the perfect stepping stone from baby massage and supports them all important milestones later on in life such as independently sitting, crawling and walking.
​
Not forgetting the benefits of bonding and attachment.
​
We end yoga session with a small section of breathing/meditation work, holding your baby close to your chest, helping them to regulate their breathing which aids relaxation and supports them to learn techniques to regulate their own emotions.
​
Our baby yoga session is run by qualified baby yoga instructor and baby room leader Emily. Loose comfortable clothing is preferable and refreshments will be provided.
*Age is a guide and can be altered for different ages.

Did you know you can hire the whole hideaway building privately for any occasion?~
You could have access to the nest, kitchen and nook to host the perfect get together with friends and little ones.
What ever the occasion, we've got you covered. Birthdays, Baby showers or simply a rainy day get together.
We hire out the hideaway in three hour blocks. We will set it up for you like our usual Come and GLOW sessions but you are welcome to bring any of your own resources, decorations or party food.
All we ask is that it is left how you found it.

Dads Unite
All Ages £3
Weekends are for Uniting! Uniting with friends, family and each other!
WAH Hideaway offers the opportunity for different groups to Unite every weekend.
We host a 'Dad's Unite' once a month. These sessions run 10-12. So why not leave Mum at home, unite and be proud to parent. ​

As always refreshments and resources are included.

Escape for... Learning and Development
Tiny Treasures
0-3months From £3
Every baby is different, they reach milestones at different times, they have their best sleep at different times, they even feed at different times. One thing is the same though, all parents love to watch their babes grow, develop and learn.
Our 'Tiny Treasures' session is intended to give parents the confidence to get out of the house with their perfect newborn bundle. We provide the perfect opportunity to discuss all things babe, including pregnancy, birth, weaning, physical development and investigating new resources.
With access to the whole hideaway and endless cuppas for the adults this 3 hour session is the ultimate baby group for those looking to connect with other parents.

Blossoming Babes
0-6months From £3
Is your baby no longer a newborn? Are they looking to start interacting with the world around them more? Explore, learn and play? Well, look no further, this session provides a safe space and resource aplenty for your little one. Not to mention, adult hot refreshments and the company of those experiencing the same stages of development with their little ones. With ample opportunity to discuss things such as how to go about weaning, what are the best baby monitors, how to baby proof your kitchens, our session will allow for plenty of discussion and play with your blossoming babe! Suitable for babies 6 months and under.
External Visitors
Do you run a parent or baby class?
We are happy to hire out our Hideaway to other professionals looking for a location. This may be an adult class on an evening or weekend, well being or therapy through pregnancy or something than enhances early development for children under 5 years.

Playdough Dreams
12m+ £4
Dough Dreams is delivered by WAH's Forest Keepers Leader Joanne who has an incredible creative flair and love for sensory experiences. Joanne hand makes all her own coloured and scented doughs, creating magical themes each week.
A small pot of dough and trove of open ended resources are then presented in compartmentalised boxes often alongside other natural resources of toys.
From ice cream shops to dinosaur land, farm to space... Any imaginative little one will love squishing, rolling and creating their own little playdough world each week.
Adults are invited to bring along a box / tin / bag enabling them to take home their child’s playdough at the end of each session.
